Accent coaching in Korea: frequent questions
How long until I notice a change?
Most students sound noticeably clearer in 4 to 8 sessions and first hear themselves change within one to two months. Honestly, real accent change is months of work, not days: a full transformation takes six to eight months, with about 15 to 20 minutes of practice a day.
How much does accent coaching in Korea cost?
There are four ways to join. Self-Paced is $135 USD a month, with a 30-minute call every month. Blended Coaching is $245 USD a month. Full Live Coaching is $495 USD a month. The Flagship Program is $7,500 USD for the whole course, paid in three instalments of $2,500, with unlimited lessons for six months. Prices are in USD and your bank converts from your own currency. What happens on the discovery call, and what does it cost?
It's a 20-minute Zoom call with me. You read one short paragraph, and I tell you which sounds are giving your accent away, in what order to fix them, and which plan suits your goals. The call is $45: you pick a time, pay at secure checkout, and your booking is confirmed once it's paid. When you join a plan, the $45 is taken off your next payment. If you already know which plan you want, you can join without a call.
Which accents do you teach?
Two targets: General American and British. Both are clear, internationally understood accents used in business and media. On the discovery call I help you choose the one that fits your goals, or a neutral, maximum-clarity blend.
Where are lessons held, and at what time?
Live and one-to-one on Zoom, scheduled around Korea Standard Time. I coach clients across the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia and keep flexible hours. Need to move a lesson? Message me at least 48 hours ahead and it's rescheduled at no charge.
I'm a TOEFL or IELTS candidate. Can you help?
Yes. Speaking-section coaching is a common reason students start. We focus on the specific sounds and intonation patterns examiners listen for.
Do you teach in Korean?
No. Sessions are entirely in English. If you can hold a conversation in English, your level is enough to start.
Can I get my money back if I'm not satisfied?
Yes. There's a 30-day money-back guarantee if you're not satisfied with your progress after the first month. Monthly plans cancel any time, and you can switch plans when your month renews.
I'm not in Korea. Can I still join?
